The loud, high note echoes around the small space. It seems to tear your very soul apart from your body. But you don’t stop.
All is Black. When your scream stops (you can’t control it), you are thrown into a silence just as earsplitting as your voice had been seconds earlier. You feel Nothing, taste Nothing, smell Nothing, hear Nothing, see Nothing.
Your eyes open and you see the vertical line of light between the doors that separate you from your World.

1. Fingerless Joe was a man of many talents. 2. But the talents he possessed were only capable when he was midair. 3. The hospital was quite perplexed by his presence. 4. He was in the hospital because he had fallen while trying to show a One-Eyed-Girl his talents.
5. Standing is one of those things you need grounding for. 6. So obviously he was not standing when he performed the talent.
